Hannes Grosse

Hannes Grosse (b. 1932 Berlin), studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He moved his studio to Paris in 1962, and then worked in New York and Mexico. Hannes Grosse is one of the well-known German artists of the 60s and 70s. He is a representative of hard-edge painting, who caused a sensation with his wave-like works. He has had numerous solo exhibitions in Basel, Munich, Frankfurt, Bremen, Nuremberg, Berlin, New York, Mexico City, Washington DC, Seattle and other cities.
